Snooper Syrius Installation
Snooper navigation systems are designed as Plug and Play portable systems so installation could not be easier.
When you first receive your unit simply install the Pre Loaded SD card into the memory slot on the top of the unit, switch on the battery switch on the bottom of the unit and press the power on button next to the screen, your Snooper navigation system will then boot up and come to life. You will then be ready to use your unit for full widescreen satellite navigation.
Snooper navigation systems are supplied with a quick release windscreen fixing bracket that will fit securely to any smooth flat service and rotate 360 degrees for easy viewing in any position.
The 12 volt coiled reserve charger will connect to the back of the unit when required to trickle charge the unit for longer journeys. We also offer an optional Syrius hardwire power lead which can be purchased in the accessories page.
Snooper navigation systems use the latest Sirfstar III GPS receiver chipset giving you the best GPS reception available on the market today working behind all types of windscreens.
In extreme cases such as heat reflective windscreens satellite reception maybe slower than normal however, in which case remote antennas are available which when located behind the rear view mirror or on the rear parcel shelf will speed up reception.
