'Truck & Driver' Magazine

'Road Transport Winner' in the 2008 SED Awards for Excellence

Winner 'Best Buy' in 2007 Which Magazine sat nav test

"This stylish sat-nav was the best on test, and also shows speed camera locations. It looks great and is loaded with features - our experts remarked that it has 'everything a driver needs'. The unit's touch-screen interface is simple, letting you search by street name, town or full postcode. Regular routes can be saved as 'favourites' and there are plenty of 'points of interest'. The Syrius gives clear instructions and has a colourful 3D map. Testers were impressed by its accuracy, describing its handling of the tricky city route as 'perfect'. It's available directly from Snooper's web site www.snooperdirect.com Tel: 0800 019 0416."

MSN Award 'Best Quality' to Snooper Syrius

"With these slick looks I had high hopes of the Syrius, and I wasn't disappointed. It doesn't have as many extra options and functions as some of its competitors here but it is dead easy to use. Its safety camera detector system was more reliable than some of the others, the voice and beeps weren't irritating, and I was impressed by the graphics and operation speed, especially route recalculations. Syrius is a bit pricey but does what it says it can do, and that is hard to find."

Wallpaper magazine call Snooper Syrius 'the best possible choice'

"Purchasing a sat-nav system is a bit of a bind; most cars worth their salt have one as standard, and the add-on market is still pitched at the hardened gadget fetishist. But if you have something classic in your garage and don't want to sully the dash with some piece of sub-Jonathan Ive moulded plastic, the Syrius is the best possible choice. Combining navigation with some sneaky speed camera detection (not exactly an issue with a lumbering classic), the Syrius is slender, sleek and will look good in the smartest interior."
